Client: Euro Sport Automotive Blog
Project: Brand Identity • Automotive Photography • Illustration • Apparel Concepts
The Mark Four was a creative branding project developed for a Volkswagen-focused automotive blog celebrating the MK4 generation and the culture surrounding it.
The identity was inspired by the bold, recognizable structure of classic outdoor branding, reinterpreted through the personality of the Volkswagen MK4. The vehicle silhouette became the centerpiece of the logo, while the tagline “Never Stop Repairing” added a bit of humor familiar to longtime Volkswagen enthusiasts.
Several of the promotional images feature my own Volkswagen GTI, photographed during a separate automotive photoshoot and later incorporated into the project to demonstrate how the identity could live across photography, merchandise and digital content.
What began as a design for a friend's automotive blog ultimately became an early exploration of combining my interests in automotive culture, photography, illustration and graphic design into one cohesive project.
The project grew beyond the original logo into a small visual system that included branded automotive photography, apparel concepts and an illustrated interpretation of the MK4 GTI.
